RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support for departmental, administrative, project-based, or research-related activities as assigned which could include but are not limited to: Perform a variety of clerical, administrative, operational, and customer service functions. Assist with data entry, record keeping, document preparation, and information management. Support special projects, research initiatives, event coordination, or other assigned tasks. Communicate professionally with students, employees, vendors, and the public in person, by phone, or electronically as needed. Maintain files, reports, databases, and other records as needed. Utilize office technology and software applications to complete assigned work. Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED. Experience using computers and standard office equipment. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. College coursework or specialized training in Business, Communications, Information Technology, Research, or a related field. Previous experience providing administrative, project, research, clerical, or customer service support. Experience working with databases, records management systems, or enterprise software applications. Ability to quickly learn new software systems, processes, and procedures.
