Join Our Innovative Team in Oakland, CA! Are you passionate about robotics and automation? DoorDash Labs, an independent team within DoorDash, is on the frontier of transforming last-mile logistics. Located in the vibrant city of Oakland, CA, our team is dedicated to exploring advanced technologies that shape the future of delivery services. About the Role We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our End Of Line Team as a System/Software Technician. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the bring-up, calibration, testing, and logging of cutting-edge technologies at our closed course test track in Oakland. This is an onsite role located at 333 Filbert St, Oakland, CA 94607. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm, with occasional overtime. Flexibility to rotate between shifts may be required, with a two-week notice provided in such cases. Riding an electric bike is part of the job, so comfort with this is necessary. Execute and document comprehensive tests to verify autonomous technologies.

Ensure high safety, efficiency, and reliability levels of new products through rigorous process adherence.

Engage regularly with cross-functional teams to assess and address robot behavior and issues.

Requirements

2 years of experience or a strong interest in the robotics and automation space.

Familiarity with automotive and/or computer systems.

Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and communication skills.

Comfortable working outdoors.

Preferences

Experience with live Field Operations, especially related to autonomous vehicles.

Strong organizational and process skills, with attention to detailed test plans.
