Pacific Western Technologies, Ltd. is seeking a qualified individual for the following position:

Essential Functions:
Support the Road Inventory Program team on QA/QC reviews. Assist project managers and contractors with various tasks such as reviewing teammates' reports, note-taking during meetings, troubleshooting, etc. Prepare various reports and maps using the GIS source data for decision-making purposes. Research and organize route inventory information on routes in National Parks, Fish and Wildlife refuges, and other federal partner agencies. Participate in phases of data collection trips such as planning, scheduling, and post-collection tasks. Manually collect paved and unpaved road and parking area condition data. - Provide highly accurate and precise condition ratings on various distresses. Verify spatial and tabular data in the field with station staff. Perform field visits to collect data to verify the data collection vehicle is accurately collecting and reporting condition data. Verify the data collection vehicle is adhering to contract specifications regarding how pavement data is collected and alerting RIP PMs when inventory changes are evident. Submit daily status reports from the field, as well as arrival and departure reports as appropriate. Enter surface condition data into the GIS enterprise system/Oracle databases, create shapefiles, and perform QA/QC on the data as needed. Utilize report creation templates and procedures to show results of field collection efforts. Communicate and collaborate among teammates and supervision to share ideas and provide updates on progress.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, or a transportation-related field. Knowledge and experience using ESRI tools and GIS data. Cartography skills. Proficient in using GPS and field collection equipment. Proficient in using Google and Microsoft tools. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work well in small groups is essential. Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
