Vision Insurance Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off Professional Development Assistance Opportunities Your Role as a Senior Revit/BIM Manager Gallery is seeking a Senior Revit/BIM Manager to lead our Revit environment and design team. This role will serve as the Revit/BIM subject matter expert, owning modeling standards, workflows, content libraries, and technical design quality. The ideal candidate is a highly technical and detail-oriented leader who can build scalable Revit processes, improve team efficiency, and ensure accuracy and consistency across projects. This role will also lead and develop the Revit design team while collaborating with Architecture, Engineering, Program Management, Production, and external partners. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer Key Responsibilities Revit & BIM Leadership Serve as Gallery's primary Revit and BIM subject matter expert. Establish and maintain Revit standards, modeling conventions, templates, workflows, and documentation requirements. Develop and enforce best practices for model structure, worksharing, file management, naming conventions, view standards, families, parameters, and documentation. Provide technical direction and troubleshooting for complex Revit and modeling issues. Evaluate new Revit capabilities, Autodesk tools, and industry best practices and recommend improvements to Gallery's design technology stack. Establish and maintain standards for model performance, file health, version control, and model coordination. Revit Content Library Ownership Own and govern Gallery's Revit content library. Build, maintain, and manage parametric Revit families to consistent standards for naming, parameters, geometry, level of detail, and version control. Establish a controlled process for creating, reviewing, approving, revising, and retiring Revit content. Partner with designers and technical stakeholders to identify gaps in the Revit library and develop new content as needed. Maintain documentation and standards for the appropriate use of Revit families and shared content. Design Quality & Technical Review Lead technical reviews of Revit models and drawing sets for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and adherence to Gallery standards. Establish Revit QA/QC processes and checkpoints throughout the design lifecycle. Identify modeling, documentation, coordination, and constructability issues before they impact production or project delivery. Ensure drawings and models accurately communicate design intent and meet project requirements. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Revit designers. Establish clear expectations for modeling quality, productivity, documentation, and technical performance. Provide ongoing coaching and technical guidance to designers. Create a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and technical excellence. Workflow & Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve Revit workflows, automation, documentation, and collaboration. Develop scalable processes that improve design efficiency while maintaining quality. Evaluate and implement tools, plugins, software, and systems that improve Revit productivity and model management. Identify repetitive or manual processes that could be standardized or automated. Establish documentation and training materials for new and existing Revit workflows. Continuously evaluate Gallery's design technology and recommend improvements based on industry trends and business needs. Workload & Project Support Partner with project and program leadership to prioritize Revit design resources and workload. Allocate design resources based on project requirements, deadlines, and technical complexity. Monitor project deliverables and identify potential capacity or schedule risks. Provide technical support on complex or high-priority projects. Ensure Revit deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Architecture, Engineering, Program Management, Production, Sales, and other teams to develop integrated design solutions. Support project teams in resolving technical design and coordination issues. Translate business and project requirements into effective Revit/BIM standards and workflows. What We Are Looking For Technical Expertise Advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit with a strong understanding of BIM principles and technical design documentation. Demonstrated experience developing and enforcing Revit standards across a design team. Strong understanding of Revit worksharing, model management, templates, families, parameters, linked models, shared coordinates, and model coordination. Experience managing and governing a centralized Revit content library. Strong understanding of Revit family creation and parametric modeling. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM Collaborate, Autodesk Docs, or Autodesk Vault. Strong understanding of model QA/QC and technical drawing review. Familiarity with MEP systems, electrical design, or engineering coordination is strongly preferred. Experience working in architecture, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or another technical design/build environment. Leadership Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical design professionals. Ability to establish standards and hold teams accountable to those standards. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to balance technical excellence with project deadlines and business priorities. Strong organizational and project management skills. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify root causes and develop scalable solutions. Demonstrated experience improving design workflows, systems, and processes. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with multiple priorities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design, Construction, or a related technical field preferred. 7+ years of professional Revit experience, with significant experience serving as a Revit/BIM lead or technical subject matter expert. 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing design professionals. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a design-build, manufacturing, construction, architecture, or engineering environment. Experience with MEP coordination or electrical design. Experience developing Revit templates and company-wide modeling standards. Experience establishing BIM execution plans or similar BIM governance frameworks. Experience integrating manufacturer equipment and technical components into Revit environments.
Compensation:
Salary:
$115,000 - $130,000 per year commensurate with experience.
