GIS Analyst City of Blue Springs - 3.1 Blue Springs, MO Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications GIS software Full Job Description As a GIS Analyst for the City of Blue Springs, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and expanding the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) operations. This position will work under the direction of the GIS Coordinator and provide advanced GIS support through the development, management, analysis, and maintenance of geospatial data and GIS applications used across multiple departments including Administration, City Development, Public Works, Planning, Engineering, and Utilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with ESRI technologies and demonstrate the ability to manage GIS projects, perform advanced spatial analysis, and develop GIS solutions that support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. This position is intended for an experienced GIS professional with three to five years of progressively responsible GIS experience. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Planning, Information Technology, or a related field required. Minimum three to five years of professional GIS experience required; municipal or utility experience preferred.
