Job Description

Lone Rock Resources is seeking a full-time GIS Analyst to join our team. Headquartered in Roseburg, Oregon, Lone Rock Resources is a fourth-generation family-owned timber company with a proud past and an exciting future. Role:
As the GIS Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our forestry team. This position will provide GIS support and services through a mixture of mapping, spatial analysis, and user training and support to help keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill GIS mapping and analysis requests in support of lands management and harvest operations
  • Manage, develop, and maintain GIS databases to ensure data quality
  • Support multiple GIS users with training, troubleshooting
  • Perform spatial analysis for management plans and technical reports as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Proficient with GIS software; experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online is a plus
  • 2-year degree or higher in GIS, Forestry, or related field
  • Team-oriented with a helpful attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
Compensation:
