Job Title:
Geospatial Analyst Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Geospatial Analyst, where you will utilize your expertise in imagery analysis, feature data extraction from satellite imagery, and digital mapping. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to support the US Government and requires a high level of confidence in completing tasks within a production environment with goals for quality and timeliness. Responsibilities Perform imagery analysis and feature data extraction from satellite imagery. Engage in digital mapping tasks to collect topographic features such as roads, rivers, and buildings. Ensure tasks are completed within estimated hours and meet quality standards. Collaborate effectively with an all-remote team to achieve project goals. Provide insights during interviews that demonstrate your ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently. Essential Skills Proficiency in geospatial analysis and GIS technologies. Experience with TDS, MGCP, MUVD, and Conflation. Strong communication skills for effective remote teamwork. Ability to meet or exceed production environment milestones. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must not need sponsorship Preferred experience supporting the Janus Geography contract performing feature data extraction. Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field, or equivalent GIS experience. Experience supporting NGA is a plus. Capability to work more than 40 hours per week as needed to meet deadlines. Work Environment This position is fully remote, requiring candidates to have a personal computer and internet access to connect to a B&A computer. Team members will spend extensive time in front of a computer analyzing imagery and extracting data. Flexibility to work beyond standard hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Huntsville, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
