Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GIS Professional to support the collection, management, analysis, visualization, and maintenance of geographic information and spatial data. The ideal candidate will have strong technical GIS capabilities, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex spatial information into clear, actionable insights for business and operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, analyze, and update GIS databases, spatial datasets, maps, and geospatial records.
  • Perform spatial analysis using GIS software to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and geographic constraints.
  • Develop high-quality maps, dashboards, reports, and other visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collect, process, validate, and integrate data from GPS, surveys, CAD files, databases, satellite imagery, and other sources.
  • Maintain data accuracy, integrity, metadata, coordinate systems, and quality-control standards.
  • Automate recurring GIS workflows and improve data-processing efficiency where appropriate.
  • Support field data collection and
GPS/GNSS
activities as required.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, analysts, project managers, and other teams to address spatial-data requirements.
  • Troubleshoot GIS and data-related issues and provide technical support to users.
  • Document GIS procedures, workflows, datasets, and analytical methodologies.
  • Stay current with GIS technologies, industry standards, and emerging geospatial tools. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional GIS experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro and/or related GIS platforms.
  • Proficiency with spatial data formats, coordinate systems, geodatabases, projections, and data-quality principles.
  • Experience with spatial analysis, cartography, and map production.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, GIS Web Map or Dashboards .
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Python for GIS automation and data processing.
  • Familiarity with Auto
CAD, CAD/GIS
data conversion, or engineering datasets.
  • Experience with
GPS/GNSS
technologies and field data collection.
  • Knowledge of remote sensing, imagery analysis, or LiDAR.
  • Experience developing web maps, GIS applications, or interactive dashboards
  • GIS Professional (GISP) certification is a plus. Core Competencies
