GIS Developer Compensation:

$45 - 55/hour, depending on experience

Location:

Houston, Texas Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled GIS Developer to join their team! This is a strong opportunity for a GIS professional who enjoys building practical solutions that support pipeline, facility, land, and regulatory operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to improve geospatial data visibility, streamline workflows, and support business-critical decision-making through GIS technology.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Develop and maintain enterprise GIS applications, maps, and services Build web, mobile, and desktop geospatial applications Automate data conversion, QA/QC, and spatial analysis tasks Design, query, and maintain spatial databases Integrate GIS tools with enterprise systems and APIs Troubleshoot GIS issues and support end users Build and support spatial ETL workflows Apply spatial analytics to operational and planning decisions Support GIS architecture and modernization efforts Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders

Required Qualifications & Experience:

5-10+ years of GIS development or analysis experience Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS Suite Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, Server, or Pro Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, C#, or Java Experience building GIS solutions with web mapping tools Knowledge of ETL methodologies and spatial data workflows Experience with spatial databases such as SQL Server or PODS Ability to translate business needs into technical GIS solutions Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Computer Science, or related field Nice to

Have Skills & Experience:

Experience with ArcGIS API development Familiarity with Leaflet, OpenLayers, or Mapbox GL Experience using FME for spatial ETL Exposure to cloud platforms, especially Azure Experience supporting energy or pipeline operations Background in asset integrity or regulatory GIS workflows
