Owner Overview:

Gym Tech is excited to expand its operations in Arizona, and we are seeking a dynamic and versatile Fitness Service Technician/Business Developer to join our team. This role combines technical expertise in servicing fitness equipment with business development. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and driven to contribute to the growth of our new business.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Servicing:

Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of fitness equipment. Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, meeting quality standards while adhering to Gym Tech safety standards. Thoroughly document service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Coordinate with Project Manager for needed parts and scheduling, and complete associated paperwork thoroughly to provide clear communication. Manage incoming emails, prioritize messages, and respond promptly to client and internal communications.

Client Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business. Work with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fitness industry and related sectors and drive sales of fitness equipment, maintenance services, and related products. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company's client base and market presence. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective marketing campaigns. Track and report on sales performance, setting targets and goals to achieve business objectives.

REQUIRED TRAVEL

This job will require heavy traveling. The majority will be located in the Phoenix area, but may require travel all over the state of Arizona. Recommended to have a truck, SUV, or minivan in good condition.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a fitness service technician or in a similar role within the fitness/mechanical industry. Preferred minimum 3 years experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems. Knowledge of fitness industry trends, equipment, and flooring solutions is a plus. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development and sales.
