The Information Technology Manager III under direction, plans, organizes, and directs the activities of a large information systems division providing effective information technology programs and services to support achievement of departmental and County mission and objectives; may function as a departmental lead in a large to very large sized County department. For this role specific role, duties include: The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 12/31/26, with the good chance of extension.

Initial Job Duties:
Works with business managers to evaluate current and anticipated Information Technology requirements. Coordinates information systems activities with other divisions/sections or County departments for system modification and changes. Works with business managers and other divisions/sections to develop automated billing processes. Manages and/or supervises and participates in the assessment and analysis of business requirements and development. Coordinate and assist in the processes to extract, transform, and load data for system conversions and interfaces. Coordinate and assist with testing application functionalities and document testing issues and results. Prepare, review, and validate technical documents and user manuals. Assist in the development of reports from EHR system.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5 years of progressive experience in a centralized Information Technology organization performing information systems analysis and design, application development, and databases, at the supervisor capacity. Possess problem-solving and project management skills. Experience with EHR systems preferably CERNER. Experience with EHR billing process. Strong knowledge of user interfaces and web frameworks Experience with report writing tools. Good communication and time management skills.
