Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Network Project Manager in Rocklin, CA. Seeking a Network Project Manager (5-7 years' experience) specializing in Small Cell Modifications (Mods). This role leads network enhancement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and capacity expansions across wireless small cell sites, ensuring seamless integration, optimal network performance, and modernized infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end network modification projects for active small cell sites, including hardware swaps, radio node upgrades, carrier additions, and fiber backhaul enhancements. Analyze network architecture, system dependencies, and data flows to streamline legacy infrastructure modernization and site integration. Coordinate directly with Engineering, Operations, RF Design, and Network Planning teams to drive alignment on technical specifications and deployment schedules. Build executive dashboards and progress reports to communicate deployment velocity, risk mitigations, and performance metrics to leadership.MUST HAVE SKILLS
(Most Important) Network Project Management & Small Cell Mods (5-7 Years): Proven track record managing telecom network projects, specifically small cell site modifications, equipment upgrades, RF node additions, and site turn-ups. Cross-Functional Technical Alignment (5-7 Years): Expertise leading cross-functional teams across RF Engineering, Field Operations, and Planning to resolve technical bottlenecks and ensure project alignment. Data Analytics & Dashboarding (3-5 Years): Proficiency using enterprise tools to analyze operational network data, generate real-time metrics, and deliver executive status dashboards.DESIRED SKILLS
Proficiency with enterprise telecom management systems (e.g., Fuze, SiteTracker, Granite, or Atoll). Hands-on knowledge of local right-of-way (ROW) permitting, utility power delivery, and fiber transport for small cell installations. Experience applying Agile or Lean frameworks to speed up site modification release cycles and decommissioning workflows.EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent practical experience required.Certifications:
