About the Role The IT manager is responsible for overseeing Clean Chemistry's technology infrastructure including hardware, software, and networks. In addition, this position will maintain Clean Chemistry's databases. This is a full-time position for a well-rounded, creative IT professional with prior experience troubleshooting a broad spectrum of hardware and software. The person in this role will work directly with Clean Chemistry controls and SCADA engineers to maintain and further develop the hardware and software that enables our water treatment technology. This role will also be part of the cybersecurity team and will participate in setting policies, data protection, and monitoring networks for security threats. Responsibilities Manage cloud based file storage (G-Suite), maintaining organization, training new employees, minimizing duplication and assuring appropriate cross functional access to documents and files Manage company inventory and access to software Help research and troubleshoot all hardware and software issues Manage company hardware inventory including computers, modems, and edge devices. Provide IT support for local and remote Clean Chemistry employees. Acquire and set up new computers for new hires Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to commonly used processes so that any high level employee can perform the tasks as needed Research and develop automation solutions in conjunction with the Programmer / Data Analyst on an as needed basis Research, propose and implement new softwares and hardwares as needed to improve process flow Monitor networks for cybersecurity threats. Work with outside vendors to maintain quality of company webpages Manage user creation and deletion in key software subscription programs Other IT as required Requirements Minimum 5 years previous IT and systems management experience required. Experience setting up, maintaining, and controlling access to cloud databases, preferred. Ability to work with a cross functional team of engineers and scientists. Ability to understand and function within existing processes, procedures and systems Expertise with the G-Suite including Google Docs, Slides and Sheets Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
