Job Description We are seeking a highly technical Engineering Lead to support a foundational engineering platform that is moving from crisis mode into sustained delivery. This role is heavily hands-on and architecture-focused, with limited people?management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will act as a technical anchor for the team-guiding design decisions, addressing architectural pain points, and partnering closely with senior leadership while remaining deeply involved in day?to?day engineering work. This is not a traditional people manager role; it is best suited for a senior technologist who enjoys owning architecture, mentoring engineers, and contributing directly to delivery. Required Skills & Experience Senior-level experience as an Engineering Lead, Technical Lead, or hands-on Engineering Manager Deep SQL knowledge with the ability to reason about data flow, schemas, and performance Hands-on experience with: Angular .NET / C# Azure (including Azure Functions) Proven ability to lead through influence rather than authority Comfortable operating in a role that is ~80% hands-on technical work and ~20% people leadership
