Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager/Director to lead digital innovation initiatives that strengthen project delivery and operational performance in Libertyville, Illinois. This role will shape technology strategy across engineering, construction, and prefabrication environments while identifying practical tools that improve collaboration, visualization, and execution. The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership with a forward-thinking mindset and can translate emerging technologies into measurable business value.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of a long-term digital engineering and construction technology strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Assess new and evolving technologies such as generative AI, machine learning, robotics, and IoT to determine their application across project and prefab operations.
  • Promote a culture of innovation by guiding teams toward the adoption of modern digital tools in both office and field settings.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction and pursuits teams during early project phases to create compelling digital deliverables that support competitive bids.
  • Oversee the development of visual project assets including digital twins, 4D sequencing models, and site logistics simulations for complex opportunities.
  • Provide leadership for core IT infrastructure and technical environments, including network systems, hardware platforms, backup solutions, and directory services.
  • Direct configuration management practices and support the effective use of construction technology platforms such as Revit and Autodesk NavisWorks.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify technology investments that improve efficiency, coordination, and project outcomes.
