8/01/2026 A Church On The Move From the beginning, Shepherd's Gate was different. SG is a church specifically designed to reach people outside of the church world, yet still connected to our tribe, the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). This unique combination means we are Confessional & Sacramental , Modern & Relational , and Invitational & Missional . Today, as the broader culture searches for a solid foundation of truth, trust and love in an ever shifting world, our vibe resonates. As the message of the gospel is clearly communicated and demonstrated, we are excited to continue a season of growth as we seek to impact the world with the love of Jesus . For the last 3 years, in-person worship at SG has increased an average of 20% per year. Numbers can give you a certain perspective, but what they don't convey is the sense of purpose, energy, and hope infusing our congregation. The sense that God is moving is strong and it's a fun place to serve as a result. It also means we pivot when needed, and we look for the next opportunity to follow God's leading...not recklessly, but strategically.
