The position serves as the assistant to the Director of Technology for the school district. The technology assistant will help with the deployment, implementation, and maintenance of district and building-level technology. The position is focused on computer hardware and software but is also expected to work with all elements of technology including telephone network, copy and printing services, audio-visual support, and other technology.Duties/Responsibilities:
Structure:
This position is a full-time position.Demographics:
The position will serve each site in the district as needs arise. Site locations include ROCORI High School/Middle School, District Education Facility, Cold Spring Elementary, Richmond and Rockville.Software:
Windows, MacOS, Office, Smart Notebook, Skyward SIS, as well as an understanding of portable devices, such as iPads and smart phones.Hardware:
Troubleshooting/replacing hardware components within PCs and Macs. The individual should be capable of performing basic troubleshooting procedures on projectors, Smartboards, scanners, wireless and printing.Networking:
The individual should have basic networking skills. These skills include creating patch cables and troubleshooting network issues at a desktop or laptop level.Job Requirements:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.45 to $25.13 depending on education and experience.
