What You Need Minimum Job Requirements:
Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams, including supervising staff, coordinating workloads, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Experience overseeing service operations, including coordinating service delivery, managing workflows, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations in a customer support or service environment. Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer-focused services and resolve issues in fast-paced operational environments. Experience managing budgets, inventory control, procurement processes, and recharge or cost-recovery models. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational stakeholders.Education/Experience:
Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field from an accredited institution and 3 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.Desired Qualifications:
Active DOE L or Q clearance, or equivalent, transferable clearance. Demonstrated high-level communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey information, present recommendations, and effectively engage with leadership, staff, and organizational stakeholders. Experience managing large operational budgets or overseeing significant financial resources to support organizational services and operations. Experience researching and implementing operational improvements that enhance service delivery, improve customer experience, and align with organizational goals. Knowledge of service management principles and frameworks with a focus on governance, accountability, and continuous improvement of operations. Knowledge of developing, implementing, and maintaining organizational processes, standards, and operational frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency. Knowledge of project management principles to define scope, establish schedules, prioritize work, and ensure successful delivery of initiatives.Work Location:
The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.Position Commitment:
Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. This position requires a Q clearance. and obtaining such clearance requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon the position, additional authorization to access classified information may be required, which may or may not be available to dual citizens. Receipt of a Q clearance and additional access authorization ultimately is a decision of the Federal Government and not of Triad.Eligibility requirements:
To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.New-Employment Drug Test:
The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. Although New Mexico and other states have legalized the use of marijuana, use and possession of marijuana remain illegal under federal law. A positive drug test for marijuana will result in termination of employment, even if the use was pre-offer.Regular position:
