list of America's fastest-growing companies. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure, network operations, hybrid-cloud environments, and Microsoft-based technologies in a fast-paced professional environment.Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role, the IT Manager will oversee and manage and lead an internal team of three full time individuals while supporting the firm's IT infrastructure, network systems and ensure reliability, security, and scalability across all office locations. This position's primary duties and responsibilities are as follows: Job duties include, but are not limited to: Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly; Work with outside Managed Services provider to monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed; Maintain, update and inventory internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, patches and security updates outside of normal business hours as needed; Provide on call support for internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments; Quickly and efficiently resolve Tier 2 and 3 incidents as escalated by the outside vendors, a Managed Services Provider and the internal team; Oversee upgrades / updates and ticket escalations outside of normal business hours; Oversee and manage the firm's network and on datacenter; Procure and deploy new technology solutions that support the firm's attorneys and users; Work closely with the firm management team to develop workflow improvements to include SharePoint and Microsoft 365 products such as Power Automate; Manage and resolve issues with the firm's server and network infrastructure; Research and implement network and data center best practices; Plan architecture upgrades, expansion and new services; Conduct RFPs for new technology initiatives and manage consultant, software and hardware vendor relationships; Interface with remote sites via email/phone to walk through hands-on troubleshooting; Assist the team in resolving production issues on nights and weekends as needed; On call support for major outages or network issues.Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent professional experience;
- Minimum 3-5 years of IT industry and management experience;
- 2+ years VMware / vCenter, Omnissa and Broadcom experience or similar experience managing virtual servers and desktops;
- 2+ years working with server, storage, and network architecture;
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure;
- 3+ years administering and troubleshooting Windows Server domain controller environments;
- Experience with hardware/software lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and network support;
- Experience with Cisco networking and VOIP hardware and configurations.
