IT Manager TuttiQuanti LLC Woodburn, OR Job Details Full-time 3 days ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Power BI Tableau Server administration IT infrastructure IT Systems & applications support Manufacturing Cybersecurity Full Job Description Our client, a growing custom metal fabricator located South of Portland in the central Willamette Valley, is seeking an IT Manager to take ownership of their technology environment and bring greater structure, alignment, and forward-thinking strategy to how the organization leverages its systems. This is a hands-on role focused on stabilizing day-to-day IT operations while introducing foundational processes, improving cybersecurity, and creating more consistency across systems and tools. The organization is currently operating without formal IT structure, creating a meaningful opportunity for the right individual to step in, assess the current state, and begin building a more organized and scalable environment. Over time, this person will partner with leadership to identify priorities and begin shaping a practical roadmap for how technology can better support operations, efficiency, and growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in environments that need structure, takes initiative, and wants to have a visible impact on how a business operates. What You'll Do
  • Assess current systems, infrastructure, and tools to understand how technology is being used across the business.
  • Stabilize and improve reliability of core systems, including servers, backups, and overall infrastructure.
  • Implement foundational cybersecurity practices, including employee awareness and preventative safeguards.
  • Bring organization and consistency to file management, system access, and overall IT processes.
  • Support ERP usage, integrations, and overall system functionality, helping improve how systems connect and operate together.
  • Manage third-party vendors and IT-related services, bringing visibility and coordination to external partnerships, while overseeing an internal IT programmer to ensure day-to-day needs are met
  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting as needed, while working toward a more proactive and structured IT environment.
  • Explore practical uses of automation and emerging technologies, including AI, to support efficiency and decision-making. What You Bring
  • 4-8 years of IT infrastructure and systems support in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment required.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and how they are applied in a business setting.
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP systems, including integration, support, and optimization.
  • Experience with data analytics tools, such as Power BI and Tableau preferred.
  • Proven track record of upgrading or transforming IT environments, including improving system reliability, structure, and overall performance.
  • A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to balance immediate needs with longer-term improvements.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and partnering with different areas of the business to understand needs and implement solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work fully on-site in the South of Portland, central Willamette Valley area.
