Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager/Director to lead technology operations and maintain a stable, secure computing environment for our organization in York, Pennsylvania. This role oversees core infrastructure, supports business-critical systems, and helps align technology priorities with operational needs. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on leadership style, sound technical judgment, and a proactive approach to system performance, continuity, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Direct daily oversight of network, systems, and infrastructure services to maintain dependable performance and minimize downtime across the organization.
- Contribute to IT financial planning by helping prepare, track, and manage technology spending in alignment with departmental and business priorities.
- Act as the primary administrator for the organization's enterprise platform, including user support, system configuration, release coordination, and connectivity with related business applications.
- Work closely with departmental stakeholders to ensure business systems are meeting operational goals and identify opportunities to improve workflows through technology.
- Design, maintain, and test disaster recovery and business continuity measures to reduce operational impact during outages, emergencies, or data loss events.
- Evaluate current technology environments, define service and performance standards, and recommend practical upgrades that improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Oversee configuration practices and support processes that promote consistency, security, and effective issue resolution across IT services.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, and end-user support functions.
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory administration and user access management.
- Hands-on experience with backup technologies and data protection strategies.
- Familiarity with Cisco technologies, including network hardware and connectivity support.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, system maintenance, and troubleshooting methods.
- Experience with configuration management practices that support stable and well-documented environments.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
