Job Description

About IBT IBT Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the development and deployment of wireless cell site projects. This position will manage projects throughout their lifecycle, including planning, scope, budget, scheduling, resource coordination, quality, documentation, integration, testing, and closeout. The Project Manager will work closely with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and the Project Construction Lead to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements and quality standards. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with limited day-to-day direction after an initial onboarding period. Key Responsibilities Develop project scopes of work, plans, schedules, budgets, and project documentation. Develop and maintain project plans, tracking critical path activities, dependencies, resources, and requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project scope, cost, schedule, resources, and deliverables. Monitor project progress and identify gaps related to time, cost, resources, quality, or deliverables; escalate issues as appropriate. Coordinate contract and internal resources, material readiness, site integration, testing, turn-up, and project closeout. Develop and manage project budgets in accordance with program guidelines. Coordinate with the Project Construction Lead regarding project timing, execution, and closeout. Manage the development, accuracy, and quality of project documents and deliverables. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to maintain project schedules and resolve issues. Oversee and coordinate the work of project team members and other resources as needed. Manage multiple wireless deployment projects simultaneously at various stages of completion. Provide project status updates, performance tracking, and reporting to management. Ensure adherence to applicable safety, quality, and project requirements. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing and executing technical projects , including responsibility for cost, scope, resources, scheduling, planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance. 3+ years of wireless industry experience , including experience with site acquisition, real estate development, wireless infrastructure, or related deployment activities. Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost management. Ability to identify project risks, issues, and delivery gaps and take appropriate action or escalate when necessary. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. Ability to work independently with limited daily direction after an initial learning period. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 2+ years of relevant wireless industry experience in construction estimating, project management, engineering, or a related discipline may be considered. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship for a work visa. Preferred Qualifications PMP or Six Sigma certification. Experience with wireless cell site deployment, tower development, or telecommunications infrastructure projects. Experience working with construction teams, contractors, vendors, and other third-party project resources. Experience managing projects across multiple markets or geographic areas.
Preferred:
Fixed wireless experience; experience with microwave backhaul or wireless equipment deployment; familiarity with BEAD, RDOF, CAF, or other government-funded broadband programs. Why Join IBT?
