Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Business Manager for Information Technology Operations provides administrative, financial, and operational leadership for the Hendrick Information Technology department. This position is responsible for managing the department's budget, procurement, vendor relationships, contracts, project coordination, regulatory documentation, operational reporting, and strategic planning activities. The Business Manager serves as a liaison between IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Compliance, Human Resources, and operational departments to ensure efficient delivery of technology services supporting patient care, business operations, and organizational objectives. This position works closely with IT leadership, Administration, Clinical leadership and technology vendors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Masters degree preferred (MBA, MHA or MS) Minimum Work Experience
  • 5 years of progressively responsible business or operational management experience.
  • 3 years of supporting Information Technology or Healthcare Operations preferred.
  • Experience with budgeting, procurement, contracts and project management. Required Licenses/Certifications Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills
  • Management experience in hospital/health care environment
  • Maintains professional appearance and decorum at all times
  • Requires ability to handle confidential information
  • Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours
