Technical Position Description:
Support position with functional authority for coordination and supervision of engineering activities for budgeting, planning, organization, and implementation of company services.
Primary Responsibilities Essential Functions:
Lead Technical Team by assisting in coordinating the resources required to develop customer foundation and products. Lead and implement cost associated with quoting new and existing programs. Lead and manage all aspects of engineering activities at plant, such as program management, project engineering, product design, and product cost estimating.
Additional Responsibilities:
Thorough understanding of each report and the duties required to be performed in their roles. Represent the needs of the customers to the associates, as required. Develop strategies and guidelines for technical application integration. Maintain team performance related measurables. Identify, review, and recommend new technologies in support of business objectives. Participate, as needed in internal problem solving/improvement activities. Other duties as assigned by management.
Other Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering management. Proficient use of personal computers and computers within a network environment. Effective communicator with customers, vendors, and all levels of associates. Perform basic math functions - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to actively manage problem-solving activities. Good understanding of mold, machine aux equipment, material and interaction of as it relates to CT manufacturing processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under extreme deadline pressure. Ability to support overtime during the week or weekends.
