Job Description
Position Overview Evergreen Family Health is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to lead and support day-to-day technology operations across our multi-site medical practice. This is a working manager role, not a purely supervisory position. The IT Manager will be directly involved in troubleshooting, ticket resolution, system setup, and infrastructure support, while also providing oversight and direction for IT functions across the organization. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems in real time while also helping guide longer-term technology decisions and improvements. What This Role Looks Like You are the primary driver of IT support across the organization You handle a significant portion of day-to-day technical work, including troubleshooting, setup, and maintenance You oversee IT functions across the organization, including internal resources focused on EMR support You build working knowledge of the EMR system over time to strengthen oversight and team coordination You help ensure systems are stable, secure, and positioned to support ongoing operations and growth This is a practical, hands-on environment. Success in this role comes from being responsive, resourceful, and comfortable managing a wide range of technical needs. Key ResponsibilitiesHands-On IT Support and Infrastructure Serve as a primary resource for IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, phones, and other devices Support network infrastructure, including connectivity, cabling, and system performance Coordinate with vendors and external support partners as needed Team Coordination and Oversight Provide direction and oversight for IT functions, including coordination of workload and priorities Supervise and support internal IT staff, including those focused on EMR support Maintain visibility into support needs and ensure timely resolution across all areas Support a collaborative, accountable approach to IT operations EMR (eClinicalWorks) Oversight Maintain oversight of EMR support functions and staff performance Partner closely with internal EMR-focused staff as the primary system resource Develop a working understanding of eClinicalWorks over time to strengthen leadership and support Help prioritize and guide EMR-related requests, updates, and improvements Ensure continuity, accountability, and shared understanding of systems across IT functions Systems and Operational Stability Maintain reliable, secure, and efficient IT systems across all locations Support system updates, upgrades, and implementations Ensure compliance with HIPAA and security best practices Planning and Improvement Identify practical opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and user experience Support budgeting and planning for IT infrastructure and needs Provide recommendations that balance functionality, cost, and ease of use Qualifications 5+ years of IT experience, including hands-on technical support Prior experience providing oversight or managing others preferred Experience working in a small or mid-sized environment strongly preferred Experience with network infrastructure, hardware setup, and troubleshooting Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff Healthcare or EMR experience, including eClinicalWorks, is a plus but not required What We're Looking For Someone who is comfortable being the go-to resource for IT needs A problem-solver who is willing to handle both routine and complex technical work A practical thinker who can balance immediate needs with longer-term improvements Someone who can provide structure and direction without relying on layers of management Additional Information Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for system updates or urgent issues Travel between practice locations as needed Position Notes Responsibilities may evolve over time based on organizational needs and priorities.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:
