About the role National Credit Services is investing in a significant modernization and expansion of its technology environment, and we are hiring the person who will lead it. You will own infrastructure, security, and IT operations for our Bothell contact center, working alongside our network integrator, hosting provider, and contact center platform vendors to design and deliver the environment our operation runs on. This is a hands-on leadership role with real decision authority. You will be shaping architecture and selecting technology, not administering someone else's design. What you will own Network, security, and endpoint architecture to support end users Vendor selection and management across network, hosted application, and cloud contact center providers, including holding vendors accountable to their contractual commitments The security program: access control, encryption standards, logging and retention, vulnerability management, incident response, and the documentation that evidences all of it Secure automated file exchange with client systems on daily deadlines, including key management and integrity verification Disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and documentation Day-to-day IT operations, endpoint management, and user support Security and compliance readiness in a highly regulated consumer financial services environment, including audit and client assessment response What we are looking for Seven or more years in IT infrastructure and security, with at least three leading the function or a significant part of it Experience delivering infrastructure projects end to end, from requirements through vendor selection to production Working knowledge of firewalls, network segmentation, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and secure remote access Comfort owning security compliance documentation and being the person who answers auditor and client assessment questions Experience managing vendors and integrators, including holding them to what they committed to Clear written communication. A meaningful part of this job is documenting controls in language a non-technical reviewer can evaluate Helpful but not required

SOC 2, SSAE

18, or PCI DSS audit support Familiarity with NIST security frameworks Contact center or telephony infrastructure Accounts receivable management, collections, or financial services Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ Working conditions This role is on-site in Bothell. The nature of the work and the sensitivity of the data we handle mean it cannot be performed remotely. Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check. Salary DOE regardless of stated range.
