Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this positions is: from $31.00 to $36.00 /hr (DOE) This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year. What we are looking for: Required Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Previous management or supervisory experience in a ski resort, rental operation, retail, hospitality, or related environment. Working knowledge of alpine ski and snowboard rental equipment and operations. Experience managing labor budgets, staffing, scheduling, and departmental expenses. Experience with employee hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Ability to analyze operational and financial information and make effective business decisions. Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ability to manage multiple locations and competing priorities. Strong commitment to safety and guest service. Preferred Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment, boot fitting, binding systems, and rental processes. Binding certification from applicable manufacturers, preferred and/or required based on assigned technical responsibilities. Fluency in a language other than English, particularly Spanish or other commonly spoken languages within the resort s workforce and guest population.
