Job Summary We are seeking a highly strategic and technically proficient Director of Technology to lead our organization's technology initiatives and infrastructure. This executive role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security standards, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing complex IT environments, leading cross-functional teams, and driving innovation through emerging technologies such as cloud computing, machine learning, and enterprise software solutions. Duties Develop and execute comprehensive technology strategies that support organizational growth, scalability, and security in accordance with industry standards such as NIST. Lead the design and implementation of enterprise architecture, including cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), virtualization (vSphere), and network systems (MPLS, VPNs, DNS). Oversee the management of IT infrastructure including servers, databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB), network security (firewalls, network administration), and system administration. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software licenses, cloud services, and cybersecurity solutions. Supervise technical project management teams responsible for software development (using frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, PHP), system integrations (APIs), DevOps practices (CI/CD), and application deployment. Ensure compliance with data security standards such as PCI DSS for payment systems and implement robust information security policies. Lead disaster recovery planning, business continuity initiatives, and risk management strategies to safeguard organizational assets. Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies such as AI/machine learning into enterprise solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Oversee the management of cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver projects on time within budget. Maintain oversight of IT governance frameworks ensuring adherence to policies related to change management, incident response, and system audits. Qualifications Proven experience in senior technology leadership roles with a minimum of ten years managing large-scale IT operations. Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure; experience with virtualization technologies such as vSphere. Strong background in enterprise software development using.

NET, Java, C#, Python, PHP, React, Angular, Node.js. Demonstrated expertise in database management systems including SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB; proficiency in ETL processes. Deep understanding of network infrastructure components such as DNS, VPNs, MPLS networks; expertise in network security protocols. Familiarity with compliance standards including PCI DSS for payment processing; knowledge of NIST standards is preferred. Experience managing software development teams utilizing Agile methodologies; strong project management skills with a record of delivering complex initiatives. Excellent leadership capabilities with experience managing executive-level teams across diverse technical disciplines. Strong analysis skills combined with strategic thinking to align technology initiatives with organizational goals. Exceptional communication skills capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear business language for stakeholders at all levels.

Pay:

$150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
