Job Description
Description Responsible for managing 1 or more projects with low to moderate complexity through the complete project lifecycle involving functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Coordinates day-to-day program activities. Fulfills role of team leader of cross-functional teams to coordinate and execute detailed plans for new product or product improvement development and successful commercialization. Analyzes and influences resources across the organization to ensure programs meet their agreed upon milestones and deliverables. Represents the program to the organization, reports progress on various project activities, and collaborates with team members on program recommendations, risks, and resolution of issues to senior leadership team.

- Prepare and present written and oral reports and other presentations to internal and external audiences, including cross functional management.
- Clearly define and manage project scope. Develop and manage project plan to meet deliverables. Identify key milestones for project status reporting.
- Leads the creation and updates of detailed project plans, schedule management, and project documentation including design history files in accordance with internal design control requirements & stage gate reviews or similar.
- Lead cross-functional teams in execution of project scope by identifying tasks, creating and tracking project schedule.
- Drive cross-functional teams to meet milestones and deliverables established in project planning and agreed upon with senior leadership
- Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed
- Under supervision, may create and deliver project review presentation to Business Unit leadership as necessary
- Perform/Lead project risk assessment & propose & manage appropriate mitigations.
- Identify problems and work with cross-functional team to resolve them
- Tracks and presents budget variances, and recommends contingency options
- Collaborate with representatives from appropriate functional areas across the Division to meet project objectives.
- Creates a work environment that supports team effectiveness.
- Under supervision, assists with the decision-making process within a cross-functional team.
- Communicates with all levels of the organization in order to represent the objectives, risks, and needs for the program.
- Lead activities across numerous functions to meet the objectives of a given program including scope, budget, and schedule.
- In partnership with the Program Manager, identifies opportunities for improving overall performance of the program.
