Associate Education/Experience :
Professional qualification, with strong, commercial focus. 8 years experience, preferably in a large, international corporate manufacturing environment. Process improvement and reengineering experience
Knowledge :
Strong project management skills with proven results showing ability to influence, work with cross functional teams and pull together disparate resources into a high performing team. Excellent systems acumen, preferably with Oracle experience. Proven record in identification and delivery of process improvement. Experience or exposure to key business functions, preferably in an international or complex business environment.
Skills :
Confident leader with the ability to motivate team by example and advise and coach team members. Needs an appreciation of the need for good customer focus and excellent communication & report writing abilities. Ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Work closely with both business & IT management to help identify, evaluate, prioritize and schedule potential new project work within a portfolio road map. This includes managing and prioritizing requests and ideas for projects as well as developing recommended solutions to business issues. Seek opportunities for continuous process improvement and process re-engineering activity worldwide. Take ownership and demonstrate clear leadership of assigned projects: Ensure compliance with, and leverage the IT Governance process, to effectively communicate project expectations (requirements, priorities, resources, cost benefit analysis, risks, etc), progress and status to the project team & management in a timely fashion. Work closely with the IPM to contribute to and maintain a standard Governance, Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) and Direct Charge methodology. Ensure a consistent application of the Governance, PMLC and Direct Charge methodology for all assigned projects from initial concept, design, and execution to post project review. Manage assigned projects to achieve successful on time execution of project deliverables through a combination of personal leadership and by providing appropriate leadership guidance and coaching support to team members in line with project plans. This particularly includes, but is not limited to, the identification and resolution of potential barriers. Become subject matter experts in the specific project processes that are the subject of improvement efforts. The goal is to enable closer partnership and involvement of IT with Business at all levels. Manage the preparation of detailed analysis and documentation to support knowledge transfer & sharing
