Overview:

The Technical Program Manager provides support and/or leads teams through the Engineering development process. As a member of the Engineering team, the TPM is expected to drive and motivate the cross-functional team to deliver the product. This role reports to VP, Business Development and Product.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide project planning, scheduling, tracking, and resource coordination for engineering programs. Communicate within and between functional groups, including status meetings and reports. Raise risks and identify dependencies within and across groups. Prioritize the activities of cross-functional project teams. Create and monitor schedules and resources to meet project deliverables. Support, manage and influence continuous improvement of product development process, practices, and initiatives. Monitor programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or department personnel Procure parts, manage purchase orders, and bills of material, and build plans. Identify, escalate, and ensure the resolution of issues impacting the successful execution of programs. Lead cross-functional team in the delivery of complex hardware systems and software development Manage, own and drive projects with regards to cost, schedule, quality, and performance goals Provide detailed project plans and schedules Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. PMI certification is a plus. 5-12 years of PM experience in an Engineering organization is desired. Deep understanding of Engineering development process and activities. Strong team player and creative thinker who is able to lead technical teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors against plans. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent knowledge of product life cycle, tools, processes and operations planning. Strong understanding of technical requirements for technology integration (hardware, software, firmware, etc.)
