•On-site The Opportunity BBSI has partnered with a specialized Northern California-based engineering, manufacturing, and service company that designs, builds, installs, and maintains custom material handling and lifting equipment for industrial, technology, and manufacturing clients. Our team supports highly technical projects that require precision, safety, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a technically minded Industrial Equipment Project Manager with experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, mechanical systems, material handling, or engineered products to review customer specifications, develop equipment solutions, prepare quotations, and manage projects through completion. This position requires someone comfortable using their own technical judgment to determine project design and direction. Key Responsibilities Review specifications, drawings, bid documents, and customer requirements to determine project scope. Work directly with customers to clarify technical requirements and develop appropriate solutions. Determine project design, equipment, materials, labor, and overall project direction. Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, proposals, and project pricing. Independently manage awarded projects from quote through completion and closeout . Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned projects. Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, technicians, vendors, and subcontractors. Manage schedules, purchasing, materials, documentation, and project changes. Monitor project costs, timelines, quality, and customer expectations. Maintain accurate estimating and project records. Requirements 3+ years of experience in estimating, project management, or project engineering within manufacturing, industrial equipment, material handling, machinery, mechanical systems, automation, engineered products, fabrication, or industrial services required Experience interpreting technical specifications, drawings, blueprints, and bid documents . Experience preparing estimates, quotations, proposals, or project pricing. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment, machinery, manufacturing, or mechanical systems. Ability to evaluate technical requirements and independently develop project solutions. Experience managing projects from initial scope through completion. Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills. Experience coordinating with vendors, technicians and manufacturing teams. Familiarity with ERP, CRM, estimating,, or project management software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Benefits Competitive Base Salary 4-Day Work Week
