As the company scales, they're building out a more mature project management function and need an experienced, hands-on SAP Project Manager to bring structure, documentation, and disciplined execution to their project portfolio. This is an individual contributor role with real ownership over how work gets planned, tracked, and delivered - ideal for someone who thrives operating independently in a growing, still-maturing environment, with room for growth. What You'll Do Own hands-on, day-to-day delivery of
SAP S/4HANA
projects and enhancements across the full project lifecycle - from initiation and design through testing, cutover, and stabilization. Serve as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, the SAP functional and technical team, and outside implementation partners. Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation, applying SAP Activate methodology. Drive scope and schedule control, track risks and issues, and hold teams accountable for delivery. Provide clear, consistent status reporting and readouts to the business. Support change control, documentation standards, and audit-readiness practices in line with SOX compliance requirements. May act as the sole project management resource on the portfolio, or work alongside existing team members depending on how the team evolves. As the program matures, opportunity to help shape governance frameworks and a more scalable operating model for the SAP project portfolio. What We're Looking For 5+ years leading
SAP S/4HANA
projects, with direct experience applying SAP Activate methodology. Broad exposure across SAP modules such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance, or Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) - breadth across an implementation is valued over deep specialization in a single module.
Strong fundamentals in project management:
documentation, scope and schedule control, stakeholder communication, and status reporting, following PMI best practices. Comfortable operating independently as the sole project management resource in a still-developing environment, and building structure and process where it doesn't yet fully exist. A hands-on, execution-focused mindset - this role is about driving process and holding people accountable, not managing or directing the internal technical team. Experience with SOX compliance, change control, or audit-readiness practices is a plus. Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or another regulated industry environment is a plus. PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or SAP Activate certification valued but not required. Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to executive stakeholders as the role and program mature. Must have current work authorization; sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
