$130,000 - $150,000 base + 15% bonus About the Role Join a growing, high-impact team delivering cutting-edge automation and control systems across manufacturing, life sciences, and critical infrastructure. As a Technical Lead / Manager , you'll lead a team of engineers while staying hands-on in system design, architecture, and delivery. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in both technical execution and team development , with direct influence on project success and customer relationships. What You'll Do Lead and mentor a team of 7-15 engineers delivering automation and control solutions Define system architecture and develop design specifications for PLC/SCADA-based systems Partner with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Translate customer requirements into functional and technical designs Oversee programming, testing (FAT/SAT), and commissioning activities Enforce engineering best practices, standards, and quality across projects Support client engagement and contribute to business development efforts Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders What You Bring 8+ years of experience in automation, process control, or building automation systems 2-7 years of experience leading teams or managing technical projects Hands-on experience with
PLC/SCADA
system design, programming, and commissioning Strong background in industrial or regulated environments (life sciences, manufacturing, critical infrastructure) Experience with FAT/SAT documentation and testing practices Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and drive project execution
Technical Expertise PLCs:
Allen-Bradley Logix (required); Siemens, Schneider, or GE (preferred)
SCADA:
FactoryTalk View SE, Ignition, Aveva/Wonderware, or similar
DCS:
DeltaV (nice to have)
Historians:
OSI PI, FactoryTalk Historian, or equivalent
Data & Reporting:
SQL, dashboards, reporting tools
Programming:
