Job Description

at State of Delaware in New Castle, Delaware, United States Job Description The incumbent coordinates IT service delivery across platforms, vendors, technical teams, and business Divisions, ensuring services meet business, operational, security, compliance, and service-level requirements. Serves as a liaison between business and technical teams, monitors vendor performance, coordinates upgrades and enhancements, and supports SDLC, audits, risk management, security, compliance, reliability, and continuity activities. The incumbent also supports IT procurement and contract management, including RFPs, evaluations, reviews, renewals, and amendments; and coordinates budgets and invoices, resolves vendor issues, and identifies opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, reliability, and vendor performance. JOB REQUIREMENTS
for Manager of Application Support Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Three years experience in information systems analysis and design. Three years experience in database management systems which includes database design, testing, and implementation. Six months experience in information technology project management which includes planning, scheduling, staffing, coordinating, controlling, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on status of IT projects. Six months experience in staff supervision which includes planning, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work of others. Knowledge of contract administration which includes overseeing the development and negotiation of contracts and bid specifications; managing bid openings; awarding and executing contracts.
