Job Description

Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True", this position is responsible for working with projects team to plan, prep, deploy, and document technical projects. This role will utilize ConnectWise and other project management software to track and coordinate client project needs and services. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities:
Unpackage, install, and test hardware for various technology projects. Software testing and QC checklists weekly for development. Assists Project managers in planning and preparing for project deployments. Assists project Team in training TSG and Client staff on new systems including hardware, software, policies, and procedures. Identifies, analyzes, and updates Standard Operating Procedures for product deployments. Serve as project deployment leader on site for projects, providing direction to assisting technicians to ensure project installs are correct and complete according to project scope. Serves as the point of contact for post deployment support until TSG support is fully trained. Assists in creating and setting guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Assists in updating and maintaining project teams' repositories and files. Maintains consistent communication via all currently leveraged communications devices and software. Responsible for tracking inventory deployed in the field and updating inventory information in the established inventory tracking software. Responsible for old equipment inventory and removal, recycling, or disposal as needed. Provides feedback and debriefing notes during and after developments to aid in future projects and deployments. All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or two (2) to four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CompTia A+ and/or CompTia Project + certifications preferred. Knowledge of commonly used technology concepts, practices, and procedures within a variety of IT fields, including, but not limited to IT Hardware core components, peripherals such as printers, scanners, cash drawers, speakers, cameras, external HDD, pin pads, etc. Knowledge of various USB types, network cabling types, power adapter types, and their uses and limitations. Ability to work nights and/or weekends; and/or be on call as business needs require. Basic mathematical skills required. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, etc. Time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Problem solving skills and detail oriented. This position is subjected to The Villages Vehicle Safety Program and its policies as it requires the use of personal vehicles for company business. A Valid Driver s License with a record acceptable to company standards is required for this position.
