Job Summary:
At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company's premier vacation brands including Disney's Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, Facilities & Operations Services, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney!
What You Will Do:
In this role, you will manage projects within the US Parks Portfolio. You will apply project management principles and lead efforts around project schedule, scope, quality, cost, and performance risks. You will also lead the activities of the team by understanding the role of each team member and their scope of work. This position works closely with cross-discipline technology teams, leadership, and other business partners to understand technical and business direction, milestones and budget. High degree of partnership and collaboration is needed. Develop and manage the project scope, timelines, risks, and quality management across the entire project lifecycle (initiation through completion). Works with engineering teams, including Software Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, and leadership to establish processes across all program areas that will ensure success on strategically prioritized projects and improve efficiency. Successfully develops and maintains project budgets and ensures their delivery in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Maintains monthly forecast submissions, including making adjustments as needed to resource allocations, vendor payment schedules, and forecast for partner teams. Conducts regular program status meetings with all partners, keeping needs and requirements continuously in view. Builds program presentations and reports for management, leadership, sponsors, and partners. Works with resource managers for weekly or monthly allocations of project team
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing complex technical program/projects. Adept at leading and prioritizing projects in a program and working seamlessly with distributed teams (onshore, near shore, and offshore). Hands-on experience with Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies. Possesses good interpersonal skills, communication (written and verbal), time management skills, and attention to detail. Knowledge of Agile Application Lifecycle Management and development tools like JIRA, Confluence/Wiki, and Smartsheets Ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the supply chain industry, especially Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Blue Yonder, SAP WMS, Oracle WMS or similar large-scale warehousing solutions. Experience with budget tracking, including actuals vs. forecast, submitting forecasts, and providing variance explanations. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Agile Certifications (CSM; ACP; CSPO; SAFe; LeSS) Education Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $123,100 to $165,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
