ABOUT THE ROLE

Own software delivery from idea to production. Reporting directly to the executive leading digital, development, and marketing, you will own the internal tools and AI roadmap and drive our remote development team from scope through release. We need a senior project manager with the technical judgment to challenge implementation decisions, validate developer output, and deliver working solutions without constant direction.

WHAT YOU OWN

Scope and priorities: Turn leadership's ideas into clear requirements, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.

Execution:

Run sprint planning, set timelines, coordinate developers and contractors, and resolve blockers and dependencies.

Release quality:

Test completed work, identify gaps, and confirm functionality before release.

Accountability:

Track commitments, address missed deliverables, and give leadership clear updates on risks, tradeoffs, and decisions.

Hands-on work:

Use AI tools daily. Prototype, troubleshoot, document, and handle small builds or fixes when they accelerate delivery.

REQUIRED

5+ years managing software or technical projects , with a proven record of shipping. Technical depth to evaluate developer work, ask precise questions, and spot risks early. Experience driving remote developers or contractors through delivery. Daily use of AI tools to improve execution. A practical AI working session is part of the interview. Strong communication, prioritization, and independent judgment. On-site availability in Sanford, FL, five days per week.

PREFERRED

React, Node.js, Python, SQL, data pipelines, OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, e-commerce, and small-company or startup experience.
