Implementation Project with the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for the State of Hawaii. The Senior Project Manager will work under the overall direction and guidance of Harris's Project Executive throughout all phases of project delivery, driving execution, coordination, and governance across a multi-year implementation. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day project leadership across all phases of project delivery, including: Solution Alignment Requirements Definition Development Cycles Testing & Training (including User Acceptance Testing) Go-Live and Post Go-Live Support Own project planning, scheduling, risk management, issue management, and day-to-day project execution. Support Harris's Project Executive in scope management and overall delivery governance. Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to project team members to ensure successful execution, accountability, collaboration, and timely delivery. Support Harris's Project Executive in maintaining alignment with the client on project objectives, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. Lead and/or support project kick-offs, steering committee meetings, stakeholder workshops, status reporting, executive communications, and other project governance activities as directed by Harris. Apply appropriate project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid approaches, as suited to the project. Conduct project retrospectives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare and maintain project schedules, status reports, action logs, risk registers, issue logs, meeting minutes, and other project management artifacts as required. Maintain regular communication with Harris's Project Executive regarding project status, risks, resource needs, client concerns, and other matters affecting successful delivery. Perform other project management, implementation, coordination, reporting, and advisory services as reasonably requested by Harris, consistent with the nature and intent of the engagement. Allocations are provided for resource planning and budgeting purposes only. Actual billable hours will vary based on project demands, subject to a maximum of 40 hours/week unless otherwise approved in writing by Harris. Work Arrangement This engagement contemplates a mix of remote and on-site work at client premises in Honolulu, Hawaii, as applicable and in consultation with Harris. This is a full-time engagement (up to 40 hours/week); any hours in excess of 40/week require Harris's prior written approval to be billable. Qualifications (Suggested) Demonstrated experience managing large, complex IT modernization or systems implementation projects, ideally within government or public-sector environments. Experience with project delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. Strong track record in stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and steering committee reporting. Experience developing and maintaining project schedules, risk registers, issue logs, and related governance artifacts. PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification preferred. Experience with State of Hawaii government agencies or large public-sector clients a plus. Ability to work both remotely and on-site in Honolulu, Hawaii.
