Job Description
Farfield Systems is seeking an IT Coordinator to support the NRLFO Mission Support Division at the Idaho Branch Office (IBO), Naval Reactors Facility. This full-time, on-site role (~2,080 hours per period of performance, four 10-hour days per week) serves as the primary IT support point of contact for all IBO locations. Responsibilities include providing direct IT support to personnel, fielding general IT questions, executing employee onboarding/offboarding IT actions, maintaining a hardware and software knowledgebase, coordinating software installation and configuration, monitoring and resolving open NRLFO Remedy tickets within established SLAs, identifying IT trends and recommending solutions, and interfacing with the
NRLFO IT
Branch and Business Management Branch to keep tasks and priorities on track. You will also maintain IT task-tracking documentation and coordinate records management activities in accordance with applicable federal regulations.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, OR a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Project management experience required. Microsoft certification or demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Active DOE L clearance required (DOD reciprocity considered during adjudication).Preferred:
experience in systems administration (Active Directory, group policy); software development process familiarity; experience developing and implementing IT policies and processes; strong customer service, teaming, and organizational skills; experience supporting inter-departmental communications.Security Clearance Required:
