$44 - $46 an hr Our client is seeking a Project/Program Manager to support engineering and technical project teams by coordinating project activities, maintaining project schedules, driving action items, and ensuring successful execution of key initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized professional with strong Microsoft Project experience who enjoys working cross-functionally and turning complex information into actionable project plans. Key Responsibilities Coordinate project activities and support technical leads throughout the project lifecycle. Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project. Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up with stakeholders. Monitor project timelines, critical paths, risks, and dependencies. Analyze schedule changes and provide week-over-week variance reporting. Communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Support resource planning and project feasibility assessments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and meet deadlines. Break down complex project information into structured, manageable workstreams. Help identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Associate degree candidates with relevant experience will also be considered. 2-4 years of project management, project coordination, or program management experience. Recent hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (candidates should be prepared to demonstrate proficiency). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience coordinating meetings, tracking deliverables, and managing action items. Ability to analyze project data and identify schedule impacts and risks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications PMP or PMI certification. Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, R D, or technical project teams. Knowledge of project scheduling, critical path analysis, and resource planning. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel. Familiarity with production processes, quality control, and operational environments. Desired Soft Skills Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Strong emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills. Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. Adaptability and problem-solving mindset. Comfortable working with diverse teams and personalities in a fast-paced environment.
