The Tollway is a user-fee system - no state or federal tax dollars are used to support maintenance and operations. Operations are funded by toll and concession revenues.
Under the leadership of the Board of Directors and Executive Staff, the Tollway is committed to achieving the following goals: increase collaboration with regional transportation and planning agencies, promote the regional economy, maintain financial integrity, foster environmental responsibility and sustainability, maintain the safety and efficiency of the Tollway system, further transparency and accountability, enhance customer service, and maintain public trust. In support of this vision, the Project Manager oversees the delivery of projects associated with major business change programs and initiatives that focus on building relationships with internal stakeholders, drives efficiency and effectiveness through continuous improvement efforts, and ensures projects are scoped and resourced appropriately.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The Project Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage a high volume of projects, including the following tasks: scheduling priorities, evaluating capacity, tracking progress, following up with key stakeholders and assessing the project results after its completion Design, plan, mobilize, direct and monitor all aspects of project delivery, from inception to completion, including business requirements gathering and validation, resource estimation, schedule and budget assurance, updates and reporting Develop and maintain project schedules and calendars Provide meeting minutes and action items where neededTracks tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reportsManage projects to effectively forecast and/or resolve issues that may arise Create, revise and audit programs, processes, and policies to allow for greater efficiencyBuild strong communication channels with internal stakeholders Provide primary project management services focusing on effectiveness and continuous improvement while maintaining a high level of confidentialityComplete special projects and other duties as assigned by senior leadershipSimilar remote jobs
