As a Mainframe Application Test Manager, your role is to be the guardian of software perfection. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, using your expertise to craft, execute, and elevate testing reports using state-of-the-art tools and techniques. Your expertise will ensure that new and enhanced systems, along with their intricate interfaces, perform flawlessly.

In this role, you'll be writing and executing test plans and orchestrating automated scripts and programs to unveil the mysteries hidden within the code. You'll dive into the heart of software, understanding its every nook and cranny, and testing it to ensure it behaves exactly as intended. Your eye for detail will spot bugs and integration hiccups before going into a production environment . Your influence won't stop there. As a Tester, you'll analyze test standards and procedures, leaving your mark on the software testing landscape. Your documentation will be the guiding standard for debugging and software modification, ensuring that every digital creation is on the path to perfection.

Required Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years overall experience in QA/testing with 5+ years in test management / test lead capacity for Mainframe enterprise systems.
  • Solid understanding of IBM z/OS ecosystem and mainframe application architecture.
  • Hands‑on experience with test/defect management tools such as Jira, ALM/Quality Center, Zephyr, qTest, or equivalent.
  • Strong defect triage skills: severity/priority classification, impact analysis, and driving closure with dev teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • ISTQB Certification (International Software Testing Qualification Board)
  • Experience driving test automation for mainframe/distributed integration (e.
