Our teams operate across multiple locations, including Indiana, California, Orlando, the Philippines, China, Paris, and Japan. We support major entertainment and theme park clients and rely on strong collaboration and integrated business systems to connect our global operations. As we continue to expand, we are investing in modern enterprise technologies to create a highly connected, data-driven organization capable of operating at the highest standards expected by global partners such as Disney. We are seeking a hands-on Director of Enterprise Applications to lead this transformation and build the systems that enable our worldwide teams to work as one enterprise.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Director of Enterprise Applications to oversee the implementation, optimization, and integration of our enterprise systems. This is not a traditional executive role focused solely on strategy, we are looking for a working director who combines strong leadership skills with deep technical expertise and a passion for solving business challenges through technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ERP systems, cloud applications, databases, and enterprise software integration in mid-sized organizations. This individual will work closely with business leaders across multiple departments and global offices to improve processes, drive system adoption, and support future growth. Key Responsibilities LightUpToys.com has an established global IT team that manages databases, networks, websites, accounting systems, and other technology operations. We are seeking a hands-on leader who will work alongside and guide this team, actively participating in projects, problem-solving, and the implementation of key technology initiatives. Lead and actively participate in the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications across the organization. Lead ERP selection, deployment, integration, and optimization initiatives while working closely with internal teams and stakeholders. Work hands-on with the team to implement, support, and optimize Airtable and future ERP platforms, including Acumatica. Partner with business leaders to identify technology solutions that improve operational efficiency. Ensure effective communication and integration among global offices and business units. Actively support, maintain, and enhance existing systems, including QuickBooks, Smartsheet, and custom business applications, in collaboration with the IT team. Lead the team in managing and improving enterprise database environments, including MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server. Work with the team to develop, maintain, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and application environments. Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and application environments. Lead cross-functional projects involving technology, operations, logistics, accounting, and manufacturing teams. Establish best practices for data management, security, system reliability, and business continuity. Provide hands-on technical leadership by actively troubleshooting issues, supporting implementations, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience working with enterprise applications and business systems. Demonstrated success implementing or managing ERP platforms within mid-sized organizations. Strong experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concept for non-technical audiences. Proven ability to work directly with business leaders and operational teams. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with one or more of the following platforms is highly desirable: Acumatica ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Oracle NetSuite QuickBooks Airtable Smartsheet CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems MySQL Microsoft SQL Server Cloud-based infrastructure and enterprise applications
