Job Description
Technical Project Manager
Koniag Emerging Technologies (KET), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team supporting an Army customer in Adelphi, MD. This position requires an active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and offers an opportunity to work on critical defense programs.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing large projects or significant segments of large complex projects for the customer.
Principal responsibilities include:
- Serve as a single point of contact for assigned projects, supporting them from original concept through final implementation
- Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative alternative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components
- Interface with all areas affected by projects including end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors
- Review requirements to define project scope and objectives
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
- Plan and facilitate project meetings, ensuring effective project tracking and analysis
- Ensure adnce to quality standards and review project deliverables
- Support integration of vendor tasks and tracking and reviewing of vendor deliverables
- Acquire necessary computer network accesses compatible with unique Government Systems and software
- Manage access to DISA Direct Order Entry ("DDOE") and Telecom Inventor Billing Information (TIBI), Mission Planning Software, Transportation, Fuels and Logistics handling
- Prepare and submit monthly DISA Direct Order Reports, including details on equipment orders, repair services, and SIM card activations
- Track and report on accomplishments, objectives, funding expenditures, Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs), and overall progress
- Ensure all team members ad to required non-disclosure agreements and avoid conflicts of interest
Education and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in defense or government environments
- Experience managing complex technical projects from concept through implementation
- Demonstrated experience with vendor management and integration
- Experience with government ordering systems and processes
- Strong background in financial tracking and reporting for government projects
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Proven ability to manage large projects or significant segments of large complex projects
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex project-related problems and develop innovative solutions
- Experience with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Proficiency in developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports
- Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional team coordination
- Ability to interface effectively with end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors
- Experience with quality assurance processes and deliverable reviews
- Knowledge of vendor management and integration processes
- Familiarity with government systems including DISA Direct Order Entry and related platforms
- Strong reporting capabilities for financial and operational metrics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ad to non-disclosure requirements
- Understanding of conflict of interest principles in government contracting
