A Technical Project Manager manages technical aspects of a technical project plan for a company. Manages hardware and software installation and upgrades while maintaining internal and external sites. Identifies project requirements, develops and manages project budgets and schedules, leads project teams, and manages communications with project stakeholders, including company management and clients.
The role focuses on project planning and delivery, cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, risk management, and driving technical projects to completion. We're looking for a strong Project Manager with enough technical understanding to effectively coordinate engineering teams and manage timelines, dependencies, and risks.
Responsibilities:
Project Management Own projects from planning through delivery, including scope, timelines, milestones, resources, and dependencies. Coordinate engineering, technical, data, and business teams to ensure projects stay on track. Track project status, risks, issues, and deliverables. Manage communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Identify project risks and drive timely resolution. Technical Coordination Work with technical teams on PLM, software, data, and AI/ML projects. Coordinate activities related to application development, data, integrations, testing, and deployment. Understand technical requirements well enough to facilitate discussions and drive decisions. Support technical teams without necessarily being the hands-on developer. Tools Experience with JIRA and Confluence or similar project management tools. Familiarity with Git and cloud platforms such as AWS, Clienture, or Google Cloud Platform. Enovia PLM experience is highly preferred. AI / ML Exposure Basic to solid understanding of AI/ML projects and the ML lifecycle. Experience managing or coordinating AI/ML or data-related projects is preferred. Hands-on AI/ML development is not the primary focus of this role.
Experience:
5+ years of overall technical/project management experience. Strong experience managing technical projects from initiation through delivery. Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and multiple stakeholders. Experience with PLM/Enovia is preferred. Experience with AI/ML or data projects is a plus. Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
