Job#: 3052941 SAP Project ManagerPosition DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and highly organized SAP Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP implementation, upgrade, and support projects.



The ideal candidate combines deep SAP program/project management expertise with hands-on proficiency in JIRA for agile project tracking, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of structured SAP methodologies and agile delivery practices, ensuring transparency, accountability, and on-time delivery across all workstreams. Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Program & Project ManagementPlay a key role in the System of Governance in defining and implementing a large-scale

SAP S/4 I-ERP

program.



Lead tactical activities and support overall strategic program objectives.



Lead end-to-end management of SAP projects, including implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and support enhancements.



Manage S/4HANA migrations, module deployments including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc., and integration initiatives.



Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource allocations, budgets, and risk registers.



Continuously assess issues, risks, and opportunities while assisting with resolution.



Track scope changes and manage change control processes to prevent scope creep.



Manage the program-level CRAID log, including Change Requests, Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Decisions.



Manage project governance, including status reporting, steering committee updates, RAID logs, and change management processes.



Coordinate, maintain accountability, and ensure Product Teams are progressing with a focus on scope, timelines, and release management.



Facilitate lessons learned and transition to steady-state support/operations.



JIRA & Agile DeliveryManage EPICS, Sub-Epics, and Features for the Product Group in JIRA.Own and administer JIRA boards for all project activities, including: Creating epics, user stories, tasks, and subtasks.



Managing backlogs.



Configuring workflows, dashboards, and custom fields to support SAP project needs.



Support the System of Delivery (SoD) quarterly Program Increment (PI) planning and facilitate related events, including logistics, breakout sessions, presentations, workshops, etc.



Prepare Product Teams for Program Increment (PI) planning events.



Consolidate Product Line Iteration Reviews into Product Group Iteration Reviews and retrospectives.



Drive continuous improvement of project management practices, JIRA usage standards, and reporting templates across the SAP team.



Release, Integration & Delivery ManagementSupport the gathering and review of metrics for major releases as well as tracking Production Releases, including Release on Demand, Problem Incidents, etc.



Support and manage integration points between ERP modules and legacy/third-party systems.



Support Foundational Product Teams by coordinating release activities such as: CutoverTesting cyclesTraining programsData readiness with Product TeamsSupport the resolution of PDO and Foundational-related dependencies with Product Managers.



Remove blockers and impediments by ensuring teams bring issues to the appropriate governance forums. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.3+ years of experience managing SAP projects in an implementation, upgrade, or support environment in a project management capacity.



Demonstrated expert-level, daily hands-on use of JIRA, including: Board configurationWorkflow automationJQL queriesDashboard creationIntegration with ConfluenceStrong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall/hybrid project delivery frameworks.



Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.



Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities. (Certified Scrum Master), or SAFe certification.



SAP Activate or SAP certification in a relevant module.



Experience with: Power BIPower AutomateJIRA AlignJIRA Service ManagementOther Atlassian suite tools, including ConfluenceExperience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.



Familiarity with ITSM/change management tools such as ServiceNow, alongside JIRA. Key AttributesDetail-oriented with a passion for clean, well-organized JIRA boards and traceable project artifacts.



Data-driven decision-maker who leverages JIRA reporting to communicate status objectively.



Strong servant-leadership mindset with the ability to motivate cross-functional, matrixed teams.
