The Business Unit Leader, within the Manufacturing Operations team, aims to develop the environment and empower their teams to achieve flawless value for People, Profit, and Planet. Representing the Group's values, purpose, and strategy, the leader is accountable for encouraging areas of excellence in their Business Unit. This guarantees performance today and tomorrow. Success comes from applying CARE (I-CARE, empowerment, and operational excellence) alongside TECH (engineering innovation and manufacturing 5.0) as core operating approaches. Key Encouraged Achievements The Business Unit Leader guides their team toward achieving success in delivering balanced value for people, profit, and planet, by fulfilling the following roles: As a member of the Operations team, focus on improving the Shop's overall performance rather than just your own Business Unit. Share procedures between units and contribute to Plant outcomes. Identify and cultivate employees' strengths. Support Shop decisions even in uncertain situations. Offer feedback and ideas for improvement. Boost performance through consistent mentoring.
People Developer:
Encourage a life-long learning approach. Ensure development via training and social promotion projects. Apply accessible career paths. Build teams with varied strengths and support skill growth through mentoring. Embody our values, purpose & strategy: Consistently demonstrate group principles while motivating teams through Michelin's purpose and Dream. Ensure clear understanding of the Plant strategy and align the vision at the shop level. Respond promptly to employee concerns and emphasize safety as a core value.
Customer & Business Partner:
Understand customer needs, guide the Business Unit in generating economic value, and support cooperation with local teams for industrializations, modifications, and digital transformations.
Environment Promoter:
Support and influence progress in reducing the environmental footprint, promote sustainability culture, and implement environmental impact strategies. Expertise in Care Vigorously represent the ICARE leadership model. Motivate a passion for ICARE in every employee. Encourage an inclusive, team-oriented environment and support the shop Support Teams.
Operational Excellence Leader:
Ensure activities follow MMW (MDP+OR/MAPP). Promote ongoing improvement and achieve Business Unit performance levels. Empower team members to show visible dedication.
