full-time Our client, a leading consulting company , is hiring an IT Project Manager to join their team in New York, NY! This role will be onsite and is looking for local candidates.
•This is a 3+month W2 contract with benefits!
• In this role, you will help manage Technical Projects by overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. You will also develop project plans , including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, coordinate meetings, and ensure stakeholder alignment . You will identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies , monitor project progress, and provide regular status updates. You will also ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget .
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans , incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions. Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business goals. Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and making data-driven recommendations for adjustments as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in IT Project/Program Management leveraging Agile SDLC. Experience in AWS environment as well as Microsoft applications and products. Experience with Jira, Atlassian or similar tools. Prior experience in financial services, banking, or FinTech industries.
