Job Description
- HYBRID - Must be able to commute to Suffolk County, Long Island multiple times a week
- Should have worked in a healthcare/hospital setting before Description Our healthcare client is seeking a versatile Project Manager to support technology, infrastructure, and clinical expansion initiatives across its Long Island facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple concurrent technology and infrastructure projects across various Long Island facilities. Conduct site surveys to assess infrastructure needs, existing environment, and project readiness. Support clinical build‑outs, including coordination of new department openings, renovations, and technology deployments. Partner with technical teams to oversee implementations involving SCCM, networking upgrades, desktop deployments, and structured cabling. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, documentation, and status reports. Utilize Microsoft Suite and Power BI for reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation. Maintain strong communication with clinicians, IT teams, external vendors, and leadership to ensure alignment and timely delivery. Ensure projects adhere to organizational standards, compliance requirements, and operational best practices. Provide onsite project support at various Long Island locations when required. Ideal Candidate Profile You're someone who can blend technical understanding with structured project management. You enjoy being hands‑on, working across diverse environments, and supporting meaningful initiatives that directly impact patient care across the systems Long Island network. Candidates applying for this role MUST come from a healthcare environment.Required Skills & Experience:
Experience in one or more of the following technical areas: Telecommunications (TCOM) Networking Desktop / End‑User Support Cabling / Infrastructure Familiarity with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager). Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint). Experience with Power BI or other reporting/visualization tools. Ability to perform site surveys and document findings thoroughly. Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management skills. Ability to work onsite 3 days per week and travel across Long Island as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical technology environment. Experience using Power Bi (dealing with dashboards and budgets) Experience supporting clinical build-outs or hospital infrastructure projects. Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar) is a plus but not required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Patchogue, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
